Sophia Suarez

Sophia is a communications and marketing professional with over 12 years of experience in financial institutions. She empowers organizations to communicate their stories, connect with their stakeholders, shape critical conversations in their markets, and measure their impact and influence. Her superpower is presenting complex information to diverse audiences.

Sophia started her career on Wall Street, first as an equity research associate at Morgan Joseph covering the TMT sector, then as an institutional equity salesperson, where she consistently grew revenues by understanding different clients’ needs and delivering tailored solutions. Before joining Ellipsis in 2022, Sophia provided marketing and communications consulting in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, where she developed organizations’ branding, website content, and marketing materials; strategic planning and messaging; and public and media relations efforts.

As a huge fan of creative problem-solving, Sophia enjoys brainstorming and writing about startup ideas. She is also passionate about financial education and literacy.

Sophia has a Bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from MIT and a Master’s degree in behavioral marketing from the Yale School of Management.
